Next Potluck Date December 15

1.  The trip for Branson for December 8-10 is all finalized.  If you are going on this trip, be sure to see me for your itinerary booklet today.  It will give you all the details.

2.   Our CHRISTMAS GATHERING DATE is December 15th.  Instead of regular potluck we will have “Party Foods” (sausage balls, cheese balls, cocktail wieners, chips and dips, etc, etc.).  (You get the idea)  Also, please remember to bring your individually wrapped candy to be bagged for the Christmas Food Boxes.  Last year we bagged these and the fruit during our work week of preparing the boxes and it worked great.  Since some of you ladies will be going to Garvin Gardens for the Women’s Ministry tea at 1:00 in the afternoon, we will handle the candy as we did last year.  I will let you know the exact date and time for the bagging when we meet the 15th.

3.  Remember the dates for helping with food boxes are December 12th sort and pack, and December19th is the distribution date.  As stated earlier, I’ll let you know when we need help with the candy and fruit.  Most of all we need your prayers.  For physical health and strength - for emotional well being and wisdom, for safety, and just that things go well in general.  Also, pray for the recipients of the boxes of food and toys and for all the workers. (Also pray for good weather).  Thanks for all that you do.

4.  Mark your calendar for January 9th for breakfast.  This is a little ways off, but I wanted to get something going for early January as Jimmy and I are planning to leave for South Texas about mid January till about March 1st.  We will probably be gone for the January and February potluck dates.  I am planning some things for March and April after we return.  More on that later.
