WOMEN ON MISSION
Mission Opportunities Are Everywhere!
A gathering of women in our church called "Women on Mission" are involved in monthly mission projects and are making a big difference by working together to plan and coordinate mission projects for the community, state, nation and world. The Priscilla Group meets the first Tuesday of each month in homes. To find out more about Women on Missions, call Rochelle Cullins (843-2332).

Women are encouraged to participate in church-wide mission emphasis and in special ministry opportunities for women. First Baptist Church has many workers who can assist in bringing in the harvest for God’s kingdom, and there are many different opportunities for mission involvement. Some of these include: First Care, within our community, the Shoe Box Ministry, within our church, and international missions such as the Bulgarian Partnership, and Sao Paulo Brazil Partnership. There are many special mission opportunities coordinated with the various women’s ministry events for the purpose of involving women in mission projects. For more information about participating or helping in missions, call Bonne Jensen (941-7884). |

Coat Drive
Each year before Christmas FBC sponsors a coat drive. Coats of all types and sizes are collected, cleaned and given out at the annual Community Christmas Food distribution. Children's coats are especially needed. As you clean out your closet this fall, bring those outgrown coats to church and pass them along to those in need.
Look for collection box or Bonne Jensen (941-7884) or Susan Murdoch (843-6257). |
